On the request of foreign airlines and civil aviation authorities, Hassan Nasir Jamy, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority’s (PCAA) acting director-general has announced that 96 out of 104 pilots licenses in Pakistan have been verified.
Jamy has sent a letter to Oman’s Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) to respond to the request on the licenses of the pilots. He assured the Oman aviation authority Aviation Division and PCAA is on board to resolve the secure airline operations.
The federal government has also initiated verifying credentials through forensic scrutiny to clear the concerns about the validity of pilot’s licenses.
All CPL and ATPL pilot licenses issued by the PCAA are ‘genuine and validly issued’ according to, Hassan Nasir Jamy, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority’s (PCAA) acting director-general.
It was cleared that 96 out of 104 Pakistani pilots have been verified on who there were serious concerns about the validity. he foreign operators and airlines were from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain Air, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Turkish Airlines.

He also vowed that Pakistan will set the standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) through proper audits and investigations.
