Lahore High Court has been approached by a lawyer to ban the popular Chinese social media app TikTok in the country. This petition points out that the app promotes, vulgarity is a waste of time and money.
Advocate Nadeem Sarwar that the video-sharing app is destroying the younger generation. He also revealed that the blackmail and harassment cases are on a hike because of the Chinese app.

He pleaded that high court should issue directives to permanently ban the app in Pakistan and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) should be given directives in this regard.
Itis important to mention that PlayerUnknown’s Battleground (PUBG) has been under the radar of the government to be banned since the citizns from many cities demanded the ban.
