A batch of 15 units of 3D printed isolation wards worth of about $123,300 is dispatched from China, Shanghai, and Suzhou for Pakistan. The wards are designed especially for Pakistan keeping in view the climate of Pakistan. The consignment will take 1 month to reach Pakistan through sea transportation.
The wards have extraordinary heatproof quality. However, water and electricity utilities have already been installed in the ward and come with doors, windows, and inner decoration. They will be fully operational once they are connected with water and electricity supply at the destination.

Noticeably, these 3D wards were used in Hubei and Shandong, China, during the peak times of coronavirus in China and the feedback was positive.
Ying Chuang Building Tech (Winsun) donated this batch of 3D printed wards to Pakistan after contact and coordination with the Consulate General of Pakistan in Shanghai and the National Disaster Management Association.
The wards have been developed from recycled materials and can be transformed to serve as emergency room, toilet, guardroom, hotel, park lounge, cafe after the viral outbreak is contained. Moreover, these wards can be recycled again for printing new buildings after crushing, sorting, grinding, and high-temperature treatment.
