Cairo is planning to promote tourism with Islamabad as both countries enjoy a friendly relationship. Egyptian Ambassador to Pakistan revealed this news while seeing off businessmen, top industrialists from Pakistan.
He pointed out that 10,000 Egyptian visas were issued to Pakistanis in 2019 and said that more visas will be issued this year. He said, “Pakistan enjoys warm relations with Egypt,” “In fact, the Egyptian government earns a significant amount of foreign exchange from tourism.”
He also invited the Pakistani government to learn from Egypt since Pakistan was focusing on promoting tourism. Egypt has historical and cultural importance due to which it welcomed 10 million tourists in 2019.
