Huawei to Collaborate With Pakistan’s Information Technology and Telecommunication for Digital Transformation

Huawei and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication will collaborate for the digital transformation plan in Country. This plan focuses on the improvement of National Information and Communication Technologies and other e-government initiatives by the State.

Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui, Federal Secretary of Ministry of IT, in order to review the status of technological development in Country held a meeting with the upper management of Huawei on 8th August 2019 in Islamabad. Huawei also showed interest by sharing their services in the process of the digital transformation of ICT and e-government plans.

An important clause of the meeting was to achieve improvement in public service delivery. Huawei is one of the leading telecom providers in the world. Senior officers of the Ministry of IT also shared their views with Huawei on the ICT infrastructure development in Pakistan.
