Indian High Commission Involved In Trading Of Fake Pakistani Rupees

The police on Tuesday has taken in custody fake Pakistani currency from Indian High Commission official. This currency was discovered during an investigation of a hit and run case in Islamabad.

The government has taken fake Rs 10000 in custody from an official whose tenure is about to expire in December 2020. He was involved in the trade of this illegal custody.

Since they were taken in hit and run cases and foreign office confirmed that they enjoy diplomatic immunity, the officials of the Indian High Commission were released.

Thogh the officials were arrestd, they were handed over to the senior diplomats of the Indian High Commission.

“Both staff members enjoy diplomatic immunity and should be released,” the foreign ministry told the police and thus they were released.
