Jahangir Tareen Not The Chairman Of Agriculture Task Force
The senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Jahangir Tareen has been removed as the Chairman of the Agricultural Task Force after the recent investigation Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
This action has been taken in response to his name being involved in those responsible for creating artificial shoratage of sugar and flour in the country.
The decision has been directed by the Prime Minister Imran Khan himself probe the report by FIA.
However, Jahangir Tareen claims that he was never the Chairman of the Agriculture Task Force.
The government has recently announced that strict action will be taken against those who are responsible for creating the shortage. Unfortunately, Jahangir Tareen is one of them.
Punjab Food Minister Samiullah Chauhdry has also resigned from his post today during the Flour and Sugar investigation. He has given his resignation to Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar.
