The killing of Bashir Ahmed, a citizen of Indian Occupied Kashmir, has taken the world by storm when a picture of Bashir Ahmed’s 3 years old grandson sitting over his deadbody gone viral on social media. Hundred of people protesting against the brutal killing and torturous treatment of the kid.
The family of 65-year-old deceased civilian claim that he was forced out of his car and killed by Indian Army while his grandson was with him.
However, the local police rejected the family’s claims, saying the civilian vehicle had gotten caught in a gun battle between rebels and security forces.
Vijay Kumar, inspector general of police in Kashmir, told reporters that rebels opened fire at security forces from a mosque in the northern town of Sopore, setting off a gun battle on Wednesday. Kumar said one security official was killed and three were injured.
“The family is being pressurised by the militants to blame it on the security forces,” claimed the local police officer.

Furthermore, Bashir Ahmad,s son informed a news agency that they received a call that his father met an accident. “When we reached Sopore, we were told he was killed in a crossfire. If it was a crossfire, his body should’ve been inside the car, but it was found on the road.”
Moreover, another family member of deceased told that his car was completely unharmed. The family claimed that they tortured the deceased grandson and accused the security forces of putting the child on the deceased civilian’s body “for taking pictures”.
“They dragged the body out and put the child on top. The child’s clothes were drenched in his grandfather’s blood,” one of Khan’s relatives claimed.
Reportedly, Hundreds assembled at the man’s funeral near the main city of Srinagar shouting, “We want freedom”.
