“One thing is for certain, this airplane was not hit by a missile”: Iran

Chief of Iran’s Civil Aviation, Ali Abedzadeh, made a firm statement on Friday that he was ‘certain’ that missile did not hit the plane which crashed outside Tehran.

This statement was made after Britain and Canada came forward with their allegation about the crash which blamed the Iranian missile to be the reason for the crash.

He also highlighted that the black box still has to be examined for evidence. “The information in the black boxes … is crucial for the aviation organization to make a statement,” Abedzadeh said.

The civil aviation boss has rejected all the allegations against Iran and had made a clear statement saying, “any remarks made before the data is extracted … is not an expert opinion.”

The reason for such allegations is the video which shows a missile striking something shiny in the sky. Chief of Civil Aviation confirmed that the airplane was on fire for 60 to 70 seconds. He questioned if there was a scientific reason to explain the striking of the missile to plane.
