Metro Bus Service To Resume Its Operations In Rawalpindi & Islamabad

Metro Bus service will resume its operations in twin cities (Islamabad and Rawalpindi) following the standard operation procedure suggested by the government.

SOPs have been issued by the administration. One is not allowed to travel while standing in the bus and without a seat. More so, no one is allowed to enter without wearing a mask.

The operations of the metro bus were halted on March 23 after a lockdown was imposed by the government amid the spread of coronavirus.

Punjab has already lifted the lockdown allowing all the industries to process with their operations. However, marriage halls and schools are still not allowed to operate.

The Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department has issued a notification in collaboration with the National Coordination Committee. The notification lifted the restrictions on all sectors on August 10 and resume educational activities from Sept 15.
