Nawaz Sharif Leaves Pakistan for Treatment in London.

Former prime Minister and PML-N founder Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif departs for London on Tuesday. He is accompanied by his personal physician and His brother, party president Mr Shahbaz along with other members of the party.

An air ambulance arrived in Lahore on Tuesday at 8:45 am to carry the ailing former Prime Minister all the way to London. PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb informed that an intensive care unit and an operation theatre has been set up in the air ambulance. The team of doctors treating Mr. Nawaz provided him with required medication to keep his condition stable during the journey.

On his departure from Jati Umrah, a large crowd of supporters and party workers accompanied his vehicle to the airport. Number of Party Members were also present at the airport to bid a farewell to the three times Prime Minister.

On November 16, the LHC allowed Nawaz to travel abroad for medical treatment without having to sign the indemnity bond suggested by the federal government.

According to the order by a two-member bench after day-long proceedings, Shehbaz can accompany his brother abroad for four weeks.

The high court directed the federal government to remove the former premier from the Exit Control List (ECL) without any conditions.
