New Driving License Will Be Paperless Now

The Punjab government has introduced the new paperless driving license issuance system to help the citizens. This is happening in Pakistan for the first time.

The project has been done in collaboration with Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and Central Police Office Rawalpindi.

There will be no need of carrying documents and the whole process can be carried out in a one-window cell. Learning driving liscense will be issued to those who are interested here.

The validity of the licenses can be renewed with a special compterized system.

All the citizens need is their computerized national identity card and government. They do not have to come up with photographs and are for the issuance of their learning driving license and renewal of their license.
