It was all started by Al- Arabiya which highlighted the benefits of setting up a car factory in Pakistan to which Fawad Chaudhry responded by inviting Elon Musk to Pakistan and tagging him in a tweet.
The tweet made a logical argument highlighting that 68% of the world’s population lives within a 3.5 hours flight radius from Islamabad making Pakistan an eligible spot for exporting electrical vehicles to the whole world. More so, he also highlighted that Pakistan offers duty-free imports for setting up the factory and is the third biggest freelance market in the world.
Tesla is planning to build its fourth factory near Berlin where ut aims to produce 50,000 electric cars.
The company also announced the factories to be called Gigafactory in 2021. These plans will only work out since environmental review still has to be done.
However, Musk has not responded to Chaudhry’s tweet.
