Ministry of Interior issued a notification on Saturday announcing Eid ul Fitar Holidays across the country from 22 to 27 May 2020. The government of Pakistan announced six days holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2020.
Furthermore, the notification mentions that all the shops selling grocery, essential items and medical services including medical stores will remain open. However, all businesses public places, community markets and shops are to remain closed.
Reportedly, on 23 May 2020, Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet for the Shawwal moon sighting.
