Pakistan Microsoft Hosts a Seminar For Discussing Technological Advancement in Education Genre

Pakistan Microsoft hosted a seminar on education by the name of “Microsoft Edu Day”. The seminar was a collaboration with Punjab School Education Department, Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) and Punjab Group of Colleges.

The seminar was conducted for calling out the delegates from across the region and showing them the new advancements that can enhance the educational processes and 21st-century learning.

A number of known personalities graced the seminar. These personalities included Dr Murad Raas Provincial Minister of Punjab for School Education, Ali Salman Siddiqui Chairman of Punjab TEVTA, Aasiya Khurram Agha  Advisor to Education Minister of Punjab, Abid Zaidi Microsoft Country General Manager, and many others.

This invent was useful in devising new partnership opportunities that can empower the youth of the country. The seminar also highlighted the statistics of National Human Development Report pointing out that the growing number of youth is critical in Pakistan. It is significant to create opportunities for them to gain maximum income.

Dr. Murad Raas Provincial Minister of Punjab for School Education highlighted that developing digital skills from a young age has become a necessity. He also added that the resource should be provided to the teachers for giving quality education.

Few technologies which can improve were showcased by Microsoft Pakistan. They included Office 365, Microsoft Imagine Academy, Microsoft Enterprise Resource Planning, One Drive and campus management solutions.  

These technologies were identified as empowering tools for teachers in the seminar. It was also announced that there will be many new opportunities in the future like E2 Educators Exchange Competition. Local Education leaders will be able to attend E2 in Sydney Australia.
