Pakistan, The Only Country To Talk To Every Country: Pakistan’s Anti-War Policy.

National Security Division and Strategic Policy Planning Special Assistant to Prime Minister, Moeed Yusuf revealed that Pakistan’s current foreign policy aims to avoid any conflict leading to war dialogue.

Pakistan is aiming to convince the rival countries which include Iran, the United States, and Saudia Arab to de-escalate and for this purpose, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been sent to these three countries.  He made these revelations in ThinkFest 2020.

On the heavy criticism of Pakistan trying to create a friendly dialogue between three countries, he cleared the situation, ” Pakistan knows mediation will not bear fruit in this situation, but it’s time to engage in diplomacy to prevent escalation.”More so, he added that the effort was not being done for the “optics”, it was only for ‘national interest’.

He also talked on the international representation of Pakistan which always portrayed Pakistan to be allied with the Taliban.

Pakistan only aims to bring peace in the world and according to special assistant to PM, “optics don’t matter.”

More so, he also unveiled that the Kashmir issue was being handled very carefully. The issue of the valley was being talked on every diplomatic channel.
