The world bank has reported that the coronavirus pandemic is going to affect Pakistan’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) drastically. The world bank has calculated the potential loss which is up to $3.64 billion.
More so, 880000jobs in Pakistan are at risk because of the coronavirus outbreak. It was revealed in the new report compiled by word bank focussing on the Covid-19 and Tourism in South Asia.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa alone is more likely to suffer a loss of $10million to $20 million.

The highest impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is on India among all the South Asain countries which can potentially lose 43.4bn to the GDP. The second country to lose the most is Nepal with a potential loss of $460m and the Maldives $700m to the GDP.
