President Arif Alvi inaugurates PAF Air War College Institute in Karachi
President Dr. Arif Alvi inaugurated the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air War College Institute in Karachi on Thursday. He was welcomed by Air Marshal Amir Masood, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Training), Pakistan Air Force on his arrival.

The president praised the persistent efforts of the team through which the project is completed in a record time, according to the standards of the Higher Education Commission (HEC). He commented that Pakistan is a calm and peaceful country, and the whole world has noticed that we released the Indian pilot without taking any stress.
Appreciating the PAF's professionalism, President Arif Alvi stated that the entire world has witnessed its professional competency after February 27, 2019. He overviewed various facilities of the institute and also had conversation with the faculty.
Previously, Air Marshal Amir Masood, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Training), Pakistan Air Force, said education and training have remained the distinctive feature of the country’s Air Force ever since its establishment. He said that as a progressive organisation, PAF adopted the latest global trends in quality education. It implanted the educational theory and practice, with the modern technology, and infused education with critical thinking and opened the platform nationwide.

For each course, the PAF Air War College Institute members are given exposure to more than a hundred subject experts, which includes civil and military professionals, diplomats, scholars/academicians, lawyers, industrialists, scientists, economists and media personnel.
