Punjab Government Launches App For Online Purchase Of Sacrificial Animals

Punjab government has launched a mobile application for buying and selling sacrificial animals online on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

With the help of the app, many will not have to visit the market to purchase the sacrificial cattle. Punjab government has launched the application for sacrificial animals due to the spread of the COVID-19. However, one can go to purchase the cattle under strict standard operating procedures (SOPs)

The application for sacrificial animals will give the sellers an opportunity to upload the image along with the details that include weight, color, and race.

It is important to mention that the Punjab government has also issued strict SOPs for the animal market. According to these SOPs, the authorities need to establish a market 2 to 5 kilometers outside the city.

The government has also allowed the online collective sacrifice of animals. Many seminaries and other welfare organizations will old the collective sacrifice of animals.
