Schools In Sindh To Reopen From Tomorrow Neglecting SOPs
Sindh including Karachi will reopen the schools. However, the school administration and relevant officials have failed to make proper arrangements. Implementation of necessary pandemic-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) is still a question.
The school buildings are surrounded by garbage piles. The lack of cleanliness is a threat for the spread of the disease.
The six month long closure will end on September 15 but the disinfection of schools remains in the dark.
Many schools have been identified which call for the attention of the provincial government.
It is important to mention here that educational institutions across the country have been allowed to reopen. PM Imran Khan has welcomes students from all over Pakistan back to their institutions.
Tomorrow we will welcome millions of children back to school. It is our priority & collective responsibility to ensure that every child can go to school safely to learn. We have worked to ensure that school operations are aligned with public health safety rules on #COVID19— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) September 14, 2020
