Federal Education Minister announced that schools which are charging tuition fee more than 5,000 rupees tuition to decrease it by 20%.

Yesterday, it was decided by the Federal government in consultancy with the other four provinces that the schools would be reopened. Shafqat has announced that those schools which fail to follow the SOPs will have to face severe consequences.

The reopening will be done in phases.

All universities, colleges will be reopened from September 15,” said Mahmood. “[The government] has allowed for classes of grades IX, X, and XI to be conducted as well.”

“Covid-19 tests of students and school staff prior to the reopening of schools not mandatory,” Mehmood made it clear.

It is important to mention here that the schools across the country were all closed because of the Covid-19 outbreak.
