Sindh NOW Thinks There Is a Need Of Online Classes For Public Schools

The Sindh Education & Literacy Department (SELD) has announced that the province will now conduct online classes for public schools as it is the need of the hour.

The government of the province has collaborated with Microsoft and UNICEF in this regard to establish an online school for 6 to 12 grades according to the notification issued.

“This is a contemporary distance education mechanism built with the purpose to facilitate online continued teaching & learning process across the province,” it reads.

For this purpose, 75master trainers have been trained to conduct online classes so that the education can be provided to continue the educational journey amid coronavirus.

A pilot exercise has already been conducted and 1980 students along with 81 teachers have participated in Digital Classroom Platform.
