The World Health Organization has revealed that the situation is going to worsen around the globe. The highest number of cases has been recorded in America because of the racial protest across the whole country.
Since the virus emerged in China, 403,000 people have lost their lives. Now America has taken the position of the epicenter of the disease.
“Although the situation in Europe is improving, globally it is worsening,” WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus reveled in a virtual press briefing.
“More than 100,000 cases have been reported on nine of the past 10 days. Yesterday, more than 136,000 cases were reported — the most in a single day so far.”
Most of the cases being reported are from South Asia and America.
