The political situation in Pakistan seems to be getting very uncertain, with the vote of no confidence being submitted by the opposition alliance. This alliance comprises of 9 parties, determined to cease the Pm from holding office.

The opposition believes the mark will go up to 180, leaving no chances for the Pm and the cabinet to resist or continue to be in power. Of course, with this, the government and the Pm are in an extremely panicky situation, with plans to oust the opposition’s plan. The Pm has said to have visited the AGP Khalid Javed Khan, to seek his opinion on this matter and also plans to leave for Karachi on Wednesday, to make sure the PTI’s allied parties and the ruling party are on the same page. These allies include MQM, the GDA, and also leaders of the parties of Sindh.
Amidst all this, D chowk is also the setting towards which the opposition plans on marching, which in itself is a sticky situation that the government is facing. Bilawal is reported to have warned the allies and the government to not try to use any sorts of unconstitutional means, to gain control of the motion of no confidence. He says they are simply acting in the footsteps of his mother, Benazir Bhutto, and grandfather Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
Islamabad’s D chowk has been home to several protests, that lead to a lot of mayhem. The protests disrupt the day-to-day functioning of the capital and course the city of Rawalpindi too.
