22 Educational Institutions In Pakistan Sealed Over Neglecting SOPs

22 educational institutions in Pakistan have been sealed because these institutes neglected the standard operating procedures (SOPs) designed to control over coronavirus spread, said National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

NCOC reported that the highest number of sealed educational institutions are in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Five schools in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and one institution in Islamabad were sealed.

On Wednesday, eight teachers of Government Higher Secondary School Rashkai in Peshawar tested positive for the COVID-19. These teachers have been sent to their homes on 15 days leave.

The academic activities in school are being conducted under strict precautionary measures.

It is important to mention here that schools in Pakistan are reopened after a six month closure.
