Ansar Ul Islam Furious- What Will It Lead To?
On Thursday, Islamabad police launched an operation inside the parliament and arrested more than 12 workers of Ansar-Ul-Islam, including MNA Jamal Uddin, Salah Uddin Ayubi, and their spokesperson Mufti Abdullah.
Today, Islamabad police released these workers and parliamentarians on bail. After the arrest on Thursday evening, Maulana Fazul Rehman the chief of JUI- F called for protest and demanded release, after which, consequently the police blocked all the roads leading towards parliament. JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghouri also made a statement on Twitter and confirmed the release of party workers.
“We want to thank the leadership of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), however the next course of action will be decided after consultation with leadership,”
Senator Kamran Murtaza filed a complaint against the police operation inside the parliament. The complaint stated that MNA Salah Uddin was tortured, including several other MNA’s which was against their fundamental rights.

The opposition parties stated that this shows the desperation and nervousness of the cabinet as the vote of no–trust has been submitted in the National Assembly which has caused them to panic to the extent that it is now obvious by their moves. The Federal Minister was reported to have said:
“I have directed all chief secretaries and inspector generals to take those into custody who attempt to take the law into their hands.” And also spoke further that the motion of no-trust was a total failure and the opposition cannot even have 172 members, let alone bragging the apparent mark of 180 that they have assumed they will easily achieve.
