Coronavirus Can be Killed Within 48 Hrs Using Anti-Parasitic Drug!

“We found that even a single dose could essentially remove all viral RNA by 48 hours. And, that even at 24 hours there was a really significant reduction in it,” says Kylie Wagstaff, Lead researcher

Researchers in Australia in their recent study revealed that ‘Ivermectin’ can kill the contagious virus within 48 hours. Previously, scientists have used the same anti-parasitic drug to cure viruses like HIV, Influenza, and Zika.

A collaborative study was led by Monash University’s Biomedicine Discovery Institute (BDI) in Melbourne, Australia, with the Peter Doherty Institute of Infection and Immunity.

Furthermore, tests showed the drug reduced levels of the virus by 99.8% within 48 hours. However, it took three days to completely eliminate it.

Most of this research has only been ‘in vitro’ – cells in the laboratory – which has prompted calls for human trials. 

How it works to fight off the coronavirus is not clear yet, but it likely inhibits the viruses replicating mechanism in some way.
