On Friday Paul Jones, United States (US) Ambassador in Islamabad, informed the contribution of $8 million. However, the US intends to contribute in order to help Pakistan in the fight against Coronavirus. Furthermore, in his video message he informs, the US will provide three new mobile labs to test, treat and monitor Pakistanis living in virus hotspots.
More so, he says We will also fund high-tech emergency operation centers in Islamabad, Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. Also, we will expand our partnership in training community healthcare workers to assist people in their homes to lessen the burden on hospitals,”

“Secondly, we contributed $2.4mn for new life-saving activities in Afghan refugee and host communities in Pakistan administered by the United Nations Refugee Agency.
Furthermore, he says Pakistani authorities identify these contribiutions as top priority needs. And, they are fully paid by the American people.
Moreso, he also highlighted that Prime Minister Imran Khan identified another top priority: debt relief.
