Former Australian cricketer Dean Jones passed away in Mumbai after a heart attack today. Dean Jones was currently in India as a commentator for the IPL 2020.
According to the reports, deans had breakfast with Brett Lee and Nikhil Chopra, fellow commentators. After that, he suffered from a heart attack in the lobby of the hotel where they were staying. Lee tried to give CPR but it was unsuccessful. 
"It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing away of Mr. Dean Mervyn Jones AM. He died of a sudden cardiac arrest," reports Star India.
The Aussie cricketer made his first debuts in ODI and Test in 1984 and retired in 1994 after his last international match. Jones was part of Australia’s world cup winning team in 1987. He played 52 Tests and 164 ODI and his statistics are impressive. 
Jones used to serve as the head coach of Karachi Kings, a franchise of Pakistan Super League. Previously he has also coached another franchise of PSL that is Islamabad United in 2016, and 2018.
After hearing about his demise various cricketers and others shared their feelings and prayers for the late sportsman on twitter.
Pakistan Cricket Board also tweeted and shared the heartfelt condolences.
