Delicious Masala Chops Recipe for Eidul Azha

Serving: 2-3 persons                                       Cooking time:  35-40 mins

                                                                         Marination Time: 2 hours

 

Ingredients

1 medium-size onion  (fried and crushed)

Ginger garlic paste  - 2 tbsp

Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp or according to taste

Salt -  1 tsp or according to taste

Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp

Zeera (Cumin) roasted and crushed – ½ tsp

Dhania (Coriander seeds) roasted and crushed – ½ tsp

Chaat Masala – ½ tsp

Hari Mirch (Green chilli) chopped – 1tbsp

Lemon juice – 2 tbsp

Lal Mirch (Red chilli) crushed – ½ tsp

Kali Mirch (Black pepper) crushed – 1tsp

Dahi (yoghurt) – 1 and ½ cups

Oil – ¾ cup

Mutton front chops (single) – 1 kg

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients well in a bowl (except chops and onion)
  2. Put the chops inside the mixture and mix well
  3. Marinate the chops for 2 hours
  4. Put oil in a pan and place it on fire
  5. Now put the marinated chops in the oil
  6. Stir it well
  7. Cover and cook until tender (35-40 mins approx.)
  8. Now open the lid and cook for a while until oil separates
  9. Add crushed onion to the chops
  10. Put the chops in a dish and garnish with coriander leaves and green chillis
  11. Delicious Masala Chops are ready to serve
