This data was released as a part of Facebook's sixth Community Standards Enforcement Report. It was introduced in 2018 as a result of backlash over the lax approach which polices the content shared on Facebook.
Moreso, Facebook has been inviting the world to submit proposals from around the world to audit the matrices used in the report.

Facebook has been relying on automation a lot for the content reviewing process as the staff is not available because of Covid-19 Pandemic.
4.7 million posts have already been taken down in the first quarter.
