Fawad Chaudhry Suggests Solution To India For Fighting Smog

Fawad Chaudhry, Minister of  Science and Technology, has offered a hand to farmers of Jalandhar. The reason for this offer was the smog being created by the farmers across the border with the burning of leftover crops. This is creating chaos in India and Pakistan.

He suggested a solution with his Twitter declaring the act mega damage to the environment on both sides of the Punjab border. He highlighted that the leftovers can be used to produce fuel for both countries.  

The Minister of Science and Technology tweeted, ” We can help Indian Punjab Govt to use a machine solution to turn crop waste into a burning billet, that can be used as fuel when needed.”

Public health emergency was declared in New Delhi because of the thick smog created by the leftovers crops burning in areas around New Delhi. This smog is three times more dangerous than the hazardous level on the Global Air Quality Index (AQI).
