Five-Member Committee To Be Constituted For The Motorway Rape Case
The investigations of the Motorway rape case are to be completed in three days and the report is to be submitted to CM Usman Buzdar.
Lahore Motorway rape case will be investigated by a high-level committee as decided by the Punjab government. The Punjab government has issued notification for the formation of a five-member investigation committee.
These five member committee will include The Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat, who will head the committee while additional chief secretary Home Department, the additional IG special branch, DIG investigation Punjab and the DG Forensic Science Agency will be the other members.
The investigations of Motorway rape case are to be completed in three days and the report on recommendations is to be submitted to Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
Meanwhile, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Omar Sheikh on Thursday had suspended two station house officers (SHO) over their lethargic ways to delay the registration of the first information report (FIR) of the motorway rape incident.
The village of the suspects has been identified which is a major development in the case.

Punjab Inspector General of Police (IG) Inam Ghani had said while talking to journalists that the suspects will meet their end soon.
