According to details reported by local media late Judge was under treatment in a local hospital after contracting the virus. As per reports, he was on a ventilator for the past week. His health continued to deteriorate there, and he lost his battle to the virus today morning.
Exact two years back on December 04, 2018, the former accountability judge Arshad Malik handed in the verdict against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the Al-Azizia steel mills case and sent him to jail for seven years. However, he acquitted him in the Flagship investment case.

Following the verdict, Arshad Malik faced many controversies and underwent disciplinary proceedings by Islamabad High Court. He was banished to LHC afterward.
