Holy Zam Zam water to be distributed by Robots in Makkah and Madina.
Abdul Rehman Al Sudais, Head of the general presidency for the Affairs of Two Holy Mosques Makkah and Madina, has launched smart robots to distribute the holy Zam Zam Water to the Pilgrimage. These robots are introduced to prevent direct contact during Umrah and Hajj time with pilgrimage as part of a sophisticated effort to limit the spread of Covid. These robots can distribute Zam Zam water without hampering the worshipper.
Al Sudais said, “ Modern technology is increasingly utilized to serve mankind amid the coronavirus pandemic to protect worshippers in Two Holy mosques Makkah and Madina”.
In the previous week, 10 smart robots were introduced to support sterilization efforts in the Grand Mosque.

These robots operate according to an automatic control system and at six levels ensuring a safe and healthy environmental atmosphere.
The battery-charged robots can work up to five to eight hours without human interference.
In October, Saudi Arabia embarked on a plan for gradual resumption for Umrah after suspension of around seven months after the covid 19 restrictions.
In another development, Saudi Arabia will allow only 60,000 locals vaccinated residents to perform Hajj this year. And Muslims from other countries are not allowed to Perform Hajj for a second straight year.
