Hyundai Elantra Launched in Pakistan to Compete Against Corolla and Civic
Hyundai-Nishat has finally launched the Elantra sedan in an exclusive online event stream over its official Facebook page. This is the third locally assembled Hyundai (Porter being the first) and the second locally assembled passenger car introduced by the company ever since it made its comeback in Pakistan.
The event was hosted by television personalities Khalid Malik and Anushay Ashraf, who guided the viewers through each phase of the launch, clarified in insight regarding the automaker, and created the hype for Hyundai’s new offering.
Available in lone GLS variant, the 6th gen Hyundai Elantra has been priced at PKR 40.49 lac and will compete against the likes of Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic in our market.

The Elantra in Pakistan comes powered by a 2.0-liter engine that’s paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission and is efficient to deliver 154hp of power and 175Nm of torque.
And its Outstanding features include LED headlights with DRLs & LED tail lamps, power steering/ windows/ mirrors, 4-drive models (Normal, Eco, Sport, Smart), dual airbags, traction control, hill-start assist, multi-function steering, 7-inch multimedia unit, 6-speakers, reversing camera, wireless charging, cruise control, 8-way power driver seat adjustments, power sunroof, smart trunk release & 16” alloy wheels to name a few.
Booking of the Hyundai Elantra will begin from the 22nd of March 2021.
