The federal government has decided to commence the Kamyab Jawaan Programme across Pakistan on July 29. The inauguration of the programme will take place at the Islamabad Convention Centre and Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar will supervise the preparations.

The PM Imran Khan has decided to accelerate public welfare projects and Kamyab Jawan is the largest project with a welfare agenda, stated by Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen in a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday.
“It will comprise of skill development, housing projects, cheap loans, and health cards,” he elaborated. He further added that a schedule has been devised to pull out four million families from poverty.
Dar highlighted that the budget of the project is worth billions of rupees. “Public will be given interest-free loans of up to Rs500,000.”
One member of each family will be provided technical education by the government, he added.
Eligibility Criteria for Kamyab Jawan Programme
- All men/women aged between 21 and 45 years with valid CNIC and business potential are eligible.
- The lower age limit will be 18 years for IT/ E-Commerce related businesses.
- Small enterprises (startups and existing businesses) according to the definition of SBP and owned by youth under the above-mentioned age brackets are also eligible.

For IT/E-Commerce related businesses, the education must be at least matriculation or equivalent.
