Fawad Chaudhry, Minister for Science and Technology, has announced that drones produced locally in Pakistan will revolutionize the agricultural operations. It has a special cropmonitoring capability which can boost the agricultural sector.
These locally-produced drones have the ability to spray litres of pesticide for 18 minutes at a stretch.

These have the ability to detect if the crops actually needed to be sprayed with the pesticide. In the beginning,all the crops were being sprayed with the help of drone.
National Radio Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) has also announced on July 7 that Made In Pakistan drones will be available across the country at a very low cast. These were manufactured to control the locust swarm in Pakistan.
