MG Motors Faces Serious Allegations of Torturing a Customer
MG motor facing back-to-back criticism on poor handling of the customers that in the recent case resulted in the death of a man. The deceased customer's son came forward on his social media handle to explain the situation. He reported that his father went with his driver to pay the remaining amount and to inquire about the delay in delivering the vehicle. He stated
"The company received the remaining amount but refused to deliver the vehicle. This irked my father and he scolded the automobile company's staff for poor customer service and not honoring the promises. We booked the car in February this year and it was expected t arrive in July this year. This sparked a heated argument between the two sides. In the meantime, the General Manager of the company also jumped in and the argument turned into a brawl which deteriorated my father's health. As a result, he left the premises"
According to the customer's son, after the driver drove away with customer-facing collapse, the company's people alongside the manager surrounded the car and didn't allow them to leave until the customer's breath stopped. The customer's son Ghaus Gondal also registered the case against the automobile company's staff.
However, the staff narrated the incident in a whole other way. The General Manager Asif Ahmed explained that the customer got infuriated after knowing about the delay in the car's delivery and slapped the manager twice at the MG showroom in Packages Mall. His health deteriorated when he was fleeing after misbehaving with the staff that's why security let him go. The man was taken to Ittefaq hospital by Rescue 1122 where he died of natural causes, not physical torture.
