New Portal Launched To Publicize The Ehsaas Program Cash Distribution Information

Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved the ‘Ehsaas Emergency Cash Information Portal’ to provide all major and minor details of the Ehsaas Cash Distribution Programme.

He has also promised to expand the program to provide relief to those who have been affected by the pandemic. He also told that te program was free of any political influence.

“The government is striving to provide maximum assistance to deserving people in this difficult hour to help meet their needs,” the prime minister said

He also acknowledged the efforts of Dr Sania Nishtar for making the program possible. Dr Nisshtar revealed that her department had received 12 milllion sms and 5 million families have been given a cash of Rs 12,000. She said ,“The remaining families will receive the notification in 10 days’ time about their eligibility and further steps to be taken.”

Throwing light on the ligibilty for thhhe programe she said, “All Pakistanis, including members of minority communities, are eligible for this programme as it does not discriminate against any minority community.”

“Income of a person is determined from the data about him/her as people owning cars, motorcycles, passports and other valuable assets are not considered eligible for this financial assistance,” she added.

PM Imran Khan himself visited theCash Pogram Distribution accompanied by Dr Nishtar and Sheikh Rashid.
