Arab Intellectuals Uniting Against Hindus Propagating Islamophobia

Hindus living in Gulf nations have been getting attention by Gulf citizens, intellectuals, and activists because of publicly declaring their hatred for the Muslim community. These public hatred incident include the crime against Muslims in India and their extreme views against Muslims on social media. In addition, a communal angle is being given by the Indian media to the global coronavirus pandemic.

Many Hindu gulf ex-pats working on significant positions in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Saudi Arab are openly ranting the Muslim community for the spread of COVID-19.  According to them, the spread is “Corona Jihad”.

However, those with the extreme and misleading views against Muslims and their faith Islam are now getting in trouble from the last few days. A number of incidents have been recorded in this regard. Many have been dismissed.

An Indian national working as a leading accountant in Dubai has been fired after his posts against Islam went viral. Another Hindu was sacked for his extreme posts which caused an outrage in the community. A Burger King employee has also been sacked because of his extrme view. His online rants were reported to the authorities which took action against him.

Many elites like Zahrani Abidi, Abdur Rahman Nassar, and Princess Hend Al Qassimi have criticized such allegations against Muslims openly.

Abdur Rahman Noticed that Indian ex-pats remit $120 Billion per year to Indians ex-pats living in 53 Muslim countries.

Princess Hend Al Qassimi has also warned many hindus publicly about the ranting online.

Another known record holder threw light on the sentiments attached tothe faith.

Mejbel Al Sharika, a Kuwaiti Lawyer and Director of International Human Rights has invited Muslim lawyers to raise the violence against Muslims on international platforms like UN and asked Indian Muslims to join hands with him to record the incident.

One of the key reasons identified as the spread of such hatred is Indian media.
