One Million New Jobs For Pakistanis In The UK

Pakistan and the UK signed an agreement that provides one million jobs to Pakistanis.  A ceremony was held in the Governor’s House for discussing new jobs in the UK. Later, a portal will be set up for this purpose very soon.

According to details, an agreement was signed between AFCO Private Limited, a local manpower company, and MMC Healthcare Limited in the UK.

Under the agreement, 80,000 to 1 million nurses, 25,000 doctors, 10,000 pharmacists, and 20,000 paramedics will be sent to the UK.

On this occasion, Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar asked doctors to play their role in providing affordable medical facilities in remote areas of Pakistan in the manner of National Health Service (NHS) in the UK.

According to the ministry’s data, up to March last year, 40,000 Pakistani doctors were serving overseas, with 18,000 US and 6,000 doctors in the UK and European countries. That is why the UK ranks second among the countries from which Pakistan sends the most money.
