Pak JF-17 Thunder, first time participates in Virtual Air Tattoo Show-2020 in UK!

Pakistan’s JF-17 thunder participates in Virtual Air Tattoo Show-2020 at Royal Air Force Base Fairford UK. PAF spokesperson informs, C-130 Air Craft and JF-17 Thunder Fighter Jet participated in virtual air show for the first time.

Reportedly, this year because of the ongoing COVID19 Pandemic the mega event is happening virtually. Air forces sent short video clips of the aircraft and aircrew to mark their participation in the show.

However, Pakistan C-130 Hercules from No 21 Squadron and indigenously manufactured multirole fighter aircraft of No16 Squadron participates in the event on behalf of Pakistan. The participation of JF-17 in virtual airshow 2020 brings home an honor and recognition from around the world.

Furthermore, PAF has also sent the short video clip of each participating aircraft along with a message from the aircrew. The online viewers immensely appreciated the show as these clips were telecast on the official social media channels of RIAT.

More over, PAF spokesperson says this participation in this show promotes JF-17 Thunder internationally. Also, it will also help in highlighting the positive aspects of Pakistan.

Royal International Air Tattoo is amongst the biggest airshows of the world features aircraft from the leading air-forces of the globe. Various Air Forces, aircraft manufacturers, aerospace technology firms participate in this mega show each year.

JF-17 Thunder is an advanced, light-weight, all weather, day / night multi-role fighter aircraft; developed as a joint venture between Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Kamra and Chengdu Aircraft Industry Corporation (CAC) of China.

It possesses excellent air-to-air and air-to-surface combat capabilities.
