Petition Against 20% Concession In School Fee Disposed Of By SHC

The petition against the 20 percent concession in the school fee has been disposed of by the Sindh High court followed by the vacating a stay order. The provincial government has announced that it has issued a fresh notification in this regard.

Ghulam Shabbir Shah, Additional Advocate General Sindh has revealed that Sindh Private Educational Institutions (Regulations & Control) Rules 2005 have been revised giving more power to the Directorate of Inspection/Registration of Private Institutions. Special orders will be issued in extraordinary situations.

The 20% mandatory concession is now a void and a fresh notification has been issued in this regard. This notification was issued on April 1.
