Prime Minister Imran Khan called the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Lahore event held on Sunday pathetic.
He said this via a series of tweets on Twitter where he said that it was utter callousness on part of PDM’s leader.
He said they were endangering people's lives by doing a public gathering during the Covid-19 peak period just to force me into giving them NRO so they can save their wealth that they collected by looting the country.
He wrote in his tweet, “Pathetic. PDM spent so much money, time, effort & displayed utter callousness by endangering ppl's lives during the COVID19 spike - showing the scant regard they have for citizens' safety & well-being. All this just to blackmail me into giving them an NRO to save their looted wealth.”
He further stated, “Let me once again reiterate: I will never give an NRO. Whatever future plans of further blackmail PDM may have, my message is categorical: There will never be an NRO from my govt no matter what tactics the looters devise.”
PM reiterated once again that he would not give them an NRO no matter what.
