Russia Attacks Ukraine- WW3 Expected?

Tensions between Ukraine and Russia had begun over the ownership of Crimea and parts of Donbas. They of course worsened when it had become obvious that Russia planned on a military attack on Ukraine. Just today, surprisingly, the Russian President announced at 6 am that they had launched a military attack in Ukraine.

The political situation has been very serious between the two countries, which has ultimately led to Vladimir Putin declaring war against Ukraine. The statement quoted above shows the intensity of the situation. In fact, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has declared martial law, and given a clear call to the citizens of the country that they are free to fight and will also be provided weapons for this purpose.
The Russian Leader plans on the invasion of Ukraine due to which he launched an attack on the country. Several leaders from the west have condemned this attack from Russia, including Tayyip Erdogan who said “We reject Russia’s military operation”. Moreover, this might even lead to Russia having a set of sanctions upon itself, given that they are considered to have violated the rules set for harmonious international relations. Owing to the plethora of different news being reported here and there, the Russian communications regulator has clearly stated that all updates from eastern Ukraine have to be double-checked and authenticated before being published. Several Ukrainian civilians have been killed reportedly, along with Russian warplanes and forces according to Ukraine. The situation seems to be worsening, as blasts are being heard including 4 explosions in the frontline city of Kramatorsk.
