Steve Harvey Fumbles The Name Of The Contestants of Miss Universe 2019 Again!

Steve Harvey, the fifth time host fumbles the name of the contestant wrong again. Miss Universe 2019 took place this weekend and the host mixed up the names of the contestants from Malaysia and the Philippines.

This refreshed the memory of Miss Universe 2015 where Steve Harvey said the name of the Miss Columbia Ariadna Gutiérrez as the winner instead of the name of actual winning contestant Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach.

However, this time it was not about announcing the winners. However, he did say the wrong names of a contest of the national costume contest in which Miss Philipines was involved but Miss Malaysia’s name was taken.

The winner of the contest was Miss Philippines Gazini Ganados but the one who walked on stage was Miss Malaysia. In his defense, he said, ” Let me explain something to you. I just read that in the teleprompter. Ya’ll got to quit doing this to me. I can read. … Now, they are trying to fix it now. See? This is what they did to me back in 2015 – played me short like that.”

He also added, “This is Malaysia. I really love this National Costume of Malaysia. This is crazy.”

Harvey even poked fun at himself by reminding everyone about the Miss Universe 2015. He said, ” I’m hosting again. Fifth time. Can you believe it? I can’t. Ya’ll never really did let go of that Miss Colombia thing. I survived it all. When you fall, get up. Colombia has gotten over that, too. They’ve forgiven me. Well, not all of them.  The cartel is still trippin’ a little bit.”

In response to Miss Malaysia explaining the theme of her costume, Harvey said, ” Whatever you said. I’m scared to say your name. Thank you, Malaysia. An outfit that nice, you ought to wear that again.”
