Graana has established a reputation in the real estate sector and has become the number one choice of customers in the real estate marketplace.

Recently, it launched a first-of-its-kind initiative called TameerseTaleem that intends to focus on sustainable development.

In Pakistan. An increase in construction waste has become a grave issue, and it has intensified as there is a lack of monitoring of this waste. Consequently, this has led to a high percentage of urban decay and slums.

The initiative tackles the problem by using the construction waste to reconstruct areas that have restrained resources and are considered underprivileged.

Shafiq Akbar, the CEO of Graana, explained his vision by mentioning that sustainability has nothing to do with the size of an organization; instead, it revolves around adopting reasonable and impactful practices that can bring meaningful change.

The project's first phase focuses on donating the construction waste to an organization named Society of Education Welfare, which works for better education for the underprivileged. In the last two decades, this organization successfully set up 143 schools across Pakistan.

The underlying model of TameerseTaleem emphasizes three factors waste management, urban renewal, and urban inclusivity.

This initiative empowers the underprivileged sector by fulfilling their educational needs. The industry will act as a stepping stone for future generations in the long term. By tackling the issues that work as a root cause, the novel initiative can help in reducing the existing gap in urban equity.

By providing waste management services, Graana aims to set a standard for other construction companies and encourage them to reuse the waste material for a better tomorrow.
