The First 'Free Mobile Restaurant' Launched Outside PIMS In Islamabad

The first free mobile restaurant has started its services outside the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) here on Wednesday. It will provide 3-time meal services to the needy and poverty-stricken population of Islamabad.

The world’s largest free mobile restaurant services would be mutually provided by AAA Associates one of the top group of companies, and JDC Foundation (Jafaria Disaster Management Cell).

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and Inter-Faith Harmony Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari initiated the launching ceremony of the first free mobile restaurant in Islamabad.

While speaking at the event, Qadri appreciated JDC for launching a mobile restaurant in Islamabad. Both the leaders admired the initiative of AAA Associates & JDC for providing the services of the free mobile restaurant as it depicts the government’s vision of ‘hunger-free Pakistan.’

The Initiative goes with Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision to eliminate hunger by providing free food and shelter to the needy section of society. The free food program has been extended to the deprived population of twin cities (Islamabad and Rawalpindi) after successful operations in Karachi. The food-loaded vehicle will be utilized to facilitate good quality as well as hygienically cooked food reachable to everyone throughout the whole year. It can serve 15,000 people with 3 meals on daily basis.

The visitors will be offered a variety of food and beverages prepared by a team of professional chefs in the most dignified manner. It will not only facilitate the visitors with a variety of dishes but also allow them to get food for their families at home.

During the visit to the free mobile restaurant, JDC chairperson Syed Zafar Abbas Jafri thanked for this partnership with AAA Associates to become part of this great achievement and promised to continue his struggle to further help the deprived communities of the society in whatever way he can.
