Director-General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major-General Babar Iftikhar on Monday revealed that a two years old boy has embraced martyrdom. The reason for his death was the ceasefire violations on the Line of Control.
More so, 72 years old woman has also been injured badly in the past 24 hours. The Indian troops have used artillery mortars to attack the civilians as revealed by DG ISPR Maj Gen Iftikhar added.
“Indian Army troops in total disregard to the ceasefire agreement and international conventions initiated unprovoked ceasefire violations along LoC deliberately targeting the civilian population in Baroh, Dhudnial, Rakhchikri, and Chirikot Sectors,” he said in a post on Twitter.
“Pakistan army troops effectively responded and targeted those Indian posts which initiated fire. Injured have been evacuated to a nearby health facility for necessary medical care,” he added.
The sad incident took place in Sakhargarh and Chrikiot. These attacks were meant to target the civilians of Pakistan.
